If you receive any communication requesting payment to a different account, from a different number, or from any individual claiming to represent this project through unofficial channels, do not engage, do not transfer any funds, and do not share your personal details.

Please take the following steps immediately:

1. Report it to us directly at +94768700879 so we can alert the authorities and take protective action.

2. Report it to the Sri Lanka Police Cyber Crime Division by calling the Police emergency hotline on 119 or visiting your nearest police station to file a formal complaint.

3. Report it to the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) at [email protected] or by calling +94 11 2 691 692. SLCERT handles cybercrime, online fraud, and digital impersonation cases in Sri Lanka.

4. If the fraudulent communication came through WhatsApp report the number directly within the app by opening the chat, tapping the three dots, selecting Report, and following the prompts. Meta will investigate and can block the fraudulent number.

5. If you have already transferred funds to a fraudulent account contact your bank immediately to request a transaction freeze or reversal and file a complaint with the Financial Intelligence Unit of Sri Lanka (FIU) at [email protected].
